This video is meant to familiarize the rider with the location of information and components on a RANGER 1000.
This video looks at the
- 0:24 Front of the vehicle (headlights, front grille, which can removed to clean the front of the radiator, bumper, winch (if equipped))
- 0:36 Vehicle hood can be removed by turning the two quarter turn latches and sliding forward
- 0:42 Underside of the hood (pulse bar, coolant overflow reservoir, radiator cap)
- 0:51 Front suspension (shock assembly, control arms, CV joints and axle, ball joints, tie rod assembly)
- 1:05 Brake fluid reservoir, which can be viewed through the left front wheel well
- 1:12 Side of the vehicle (cab nets)
- 1:17 Driver’s seat, which can be adjusted using the lever in the middle of the seat
- 1:22 Underside of the driver seat (storage bin)
- 1:26 Front of the driver seat (cupholder, headlight switch, spare auxiliary slots, steering wheel tilt lever, lower storage, instrument cluster with mode and navigation, ignition switch, shifter)
- 2:00 Center dash (upper storage, cup holders, AWD switch, spare auxiliary slots, 12-volt auxiliary outlet, battery trickle charger, 12-volt auxiliary outlet)

- 4:14 Two grease fittings on the rear sway bar and two grease fittings located on the prop shaft. Reference your Owner’s Manual for grease points on your vehicle
