To install the front door speaker kit (part number 2890518) on your RZR Pro S, follow these steps:
1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface, ensure it is in PARK and remove the key. Note: RZR Pro S 4 Ultimate with optional accessories shown. Reference written instructions for part number 2890518 for 2-Passenger Models.
2. If equipped, remove the front tweeter speakers by removing the two screws from the A-pillar cover with a T27 TORX® socket.
3. Remove the tweeter hooks from the A-pillar cover and disconnect the tweeter from the vehicle.
4. Set the tweeter speaker aside.
5. Move the A-pillar cover up to the ROPS tube.
6. Remove two screws from the center hood panel with a T40 TORX® socket and remove them from the vehicle.
7. Remove the screw with a T40 TORX® socket to remove the center emblem panel from the vehicle.
8. Pull the speaker grille out to disengage the clips. Repeat on the other side.
9. Open the lid of the dash compartment by lifting it upward.
10. Continue by removing two screws from the dash compartment with a 4mm Allen socket.
11. Remove the dash compartment by pulling up and outwards. Disconnect the USB cord and pull through the grommet.
12. Remove two screws from the dash panel using a T40 TORX® socket.
13. Remove the screw from the inner dash panel using a T40 TORX® socket. Repeat on the other side.
14. Open the glove compartment by lifting it upward.
15. Remove four screws from the interior of the glove compartment using a T30 TORX® socket.
16. Continue by removing the center control panel. Pull on the top and bottom edges of the panel to disengage the four mounting tabs.
17. Pull the dash panel out and up to remove it from the vehicle.
18. Remove three fasteners and two push-rivets from the front right fender using a T40 TORX® socket and multi-function pliers.
19. Pull up the front of the right fender to release the front hook.
20. Move the right fender outward to release the remaining hooks.
21. Repeat on the other side.
22. Continue by removing three screws from the lower area of the fender flare with a T40 TORX® socket.
23. Remove two screws and one push-pin rivet from the outside of the fender flare using a T40 TORX® socket and a multi-function pliers.
24. Remove two push-pin rivets from the speaker area with a flat-head screwdriver.
25. Remove two screws and three push-pin rivets from the fender flare using a T40 TORX® socket and a multi-function pliers.
26. Pull the fender flare out to disengage the tabs and remove them from the vehicle.
27. Repeat on the other side.
28. Continue by removing the screw from the fender at the rear of the vehicle with a T40 TORX® socket.
29. Remove two screws from the inner rear of the fender using a T25 TORX® socket.
30. Remove two push-pin rivets from the rear of the fender with a multi-function pliers.
31. Remove two screws from the inner side of the fender with a T40 TORX® socket.
32. Remove two screws from the rear of the fender using a T40 TORX® socket.
33. Remove the rear fender from the vehicle by pulling the rear of the fender up and out. Tilt the top of the fender outward to disengage the fender from the clips at the bottom front of the fender. Tip: Clip retainers on front lower edge may need to be depressed to remove the fender from the vehicle.
34. Repeat this process on the other side. Ensure to remove the gas cap and push the grommet through and remove the fender flare. Note: Grommet will flex through opening.
35. Reinstall the gas cap.
36. Remove three push-pin rivets on the inner rear side of the front door using a flat-head screwdriver.
37. Remove two screws from the underside of the armrest using a T40 TORX® socket.
38. Remove two screws from the inner bottom side of the door using a T40 TORX® socket.
39. Continue by removing the push-pin rivet from the inner front side of the door with a flat-head screwdriver.
40. Pull the bottom of the door panel outward and upward to remove from the vehicle. Note: Make sure lip on inner side of outer door panel is clear of door.
41. Repeat on the other side.
42. Remove four screws from the front end of the rocker panel using a T40 TORX® socket.
43. Remove two screws from the mid-section of the rocker panel using a T40 TORX® socket.
44. Remove screws from the rear end of the rocker panel using a T40 TORX® socket.
45. Remove the rocker panel from the vehicle.
46. Repeat on the other side.
47. Using a 1/4 in (7 mm) drill bit, locate the nine drill points on the inner door and drill a hole at the nine drill locations.
48. Use a 1-1/4 in (31.75 mm) hole saw to cut a hole in the marked location on the door panel.
49. Install the speaker in place on the door by installing the speaker prongs on the previously drilled holes.
50. Loosely install the speaker to the door using nine screws and nine washers.
51. Using a T30 TORX socket, torque screws to 57 in-lbs (6.5 Nm).
52. Use a 10mm socket to torque nuts to 57 in-lbs (6.5 Nm).
53. Repeat this process on the other side.
54. Continue by finding and marking the dimple on the outer side of the door panel.
55. Measure 15mm (.59 in) horizontal and rear of the dimple and mark the location.
56. Use a 1-1/4 in (31.75 mm) hole saw to drill a hole at the previously marked location.
57. To route the harness on 4-Passenger models, follow these steps:
58. Begin by connecting the harness to the speaker harness connection. Install a grommet to the inner side of the previously drilled hole in the door panel.
59. Route the harness through the opening near the rear of the front door.
60. Route the harness along the vehicle frame. Attach the harness using edge-clips in locations shown. Note: Reference written instructions for detailed clip locations.
61. Continue by routing the harness upwards towards the dashboard. Attach the harness to the vehicle frame using an edge clip in the location shown.
62. Connect the speaker harness to the vehicle harness.
63. If equipped with tweeter speakers, connect the speaker harness to the tweeter speaker harness.
64. Repeat on the other side.
65. Once complete, install the outer door panel to the door frame. Engage the lip with top of the door frame before pushing the outer panel into the door frame.
66. Install a push-pin rivet to the inner front side of the door.
67. Loosely install two screws to the inner bottom side of the door.
68. Loosely install one kept screw and one screw provided in the kit to the inner side of the speaker.
69. Install three push-pin rivets on the inner rear side of the front door.
70. Torque screws to 57 in-lbs (6.5 Nm).
71. Torque all other door panel screws to 71 in-lbs (8 Nm).
72. Repeat on the other side.
73. Continue by putting the rocker panel in place on the vehicle frame.
74. Loosely install two screws at the rear of the rocker panel.
75. Loosely install two screws at the mid-section of the rocker panel.
76. Loosely install four screws at the front of the rocker panel.
77. Torque all screws to 31 in-lbs (3.5 Nm).
78. Install the front fender flare to the vehicle by engaging the tabs.
79. Loosely install three screws.
80. Loosely install two screws and one push-pin rivet.
81. Install two push-pin rivets to the front speaker area.
82. Continue by loosely installing three push-pin rivets and two screws to the fender flare.
83. Torque all screws to 31 in-lbs (3.5 Nm).
84. Repeat this process on the other side.
85. Install the front right fender hooks slightly forward onto the vehicle.
86. Install the right fender front hook.
87. Install the front right fender to the vehicle with three screws until it is fully seated.
88. Continue by installing two push-pin rivets into the front right rear fender.
89. Torque all screws to 31 in-lbs (3.5 Nm).
90. Repeat on the other side.
91. Install the rear fender to the vehicle frame by pushing the rear of the fender down and in. Tilt the top of the fender inward to engage the fender clips.
92. Loosely install two screws to the rear of the fender.
93. Loosely install two screws to the inner side of the fender.
94. Install two push-pin rivets to the rear of the fender.
95. Continue by loosely installing two screws to the inner rear of the fender.
96. Loosely install a screw to the fender at the rear of the vehicle.
97. Torque all screws to 31 in-lbs (3.5 Nm).
98. Repeat this process on the other side. Ensure to reinstall the gas gasket to the fender.
99. Install the dash to the vehicle frame by pushing forward and down to engage the tabs on the underside of the panel.
100. Align the mounting tabs at the top and bottom of the center audio panel. Push the panel into place.
101. Loosely install four kept screws to the inside of the glove compartment. Torque to 31 in-lbs (3.5 Nm). Close the glove compartment.
102. Loosely install kept screw into the inner dash panel.
103. Loosely install two kept screws into the dash panel.
104. Torque all screws to 31 in-lbs (3.5 Nm).
105. Put the USB cord through the grommet. Install the dash compartment by pushing down and forward.
106. Continue by installing two screws to the center dash compartment. Torque to 31 in-lbs (3.5 Nm) and close the lid.
107. Install the speaker grille to the vehicle frame by engaging clips on the inside of the speaker grille. Repeat on the other side.
108. Install two screws to the center hood panel. Torque to 31 in-lbs (3.5 Nm).
109. If equipped with tweeter speakers, connect the tweeter to the vehicle audio harness through the dash hole.
110. Continue by moving the A-pillar cover down the ROPS tube.
111. Install the tweeter hooks into the A-pillar cover holes.
112. Install the A-pillar cover to the vehicle with two screws.
