Updating Software
To perform software updates on your 7S display, Polaris recommends using a SanDisk® or similar USB flash drive with a minimum of 4GB in available memory, formatted using the FAT32 or exFAT® file systems. For best results, remove all files from the flash drive before starting the update process.
Tip: Use exFAT® format if you plan to update maps with the same flash drive.
To update the software on your 7S display, follow these steps.
On your computer:

Select the vehicle you which to update or add your vehicle to the Garage.
There are two ways to save your vehicle to the Garage:
- Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (recommended)
- Enter the model, model year, color and type
4. Once you have selected the vehicle you wish to update in your Garage, navigate to the Helpful Links on the left side of the page and select DIGITAL DISPLAY UPDATES & HELP.
5. From the list of displays, select 7” ATV.
6. Follow the on-screen direction to download the latest software or map to a USB flash drive (8+ GB).
On your vehicle:

2. On the touchscreen, press the Badge Panel Button (Polaris icon) at the top of the screen. Then select ALL SETTINGS.
3. Select GENERAL SETTINGS and then UPDATE SOFTWARE.
4. Select the file you wish to load. Use the date listed in the file name to determine the most recent file.

6. After your display has restarted and you've determined the update to be successful, power down your vehicle before disconnecting your USB flash drive.
Updating Maps
For base map updates to the 7S display, a 32GB USB drive is required. A USB 3.0 drive is highly recommended. The USB drive must be formatted to exFAT® before copying the map file onto it.
To update the base map, be sure to select "Include base map."
For trail updates, a 4GB drive formatted to FAT32 can be used. Do not select "Include base map."
