Connecting Bluetooth® Devices to the 2019+ 7" Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND

By pairing a Bluetooth® device to your vehicle, you can accept calls and text messages, play music and more on your 7" Off-Road Display powered by RIDE COMMAND.

Note: A Bluetooth®-paired headset must be connected to make and receive calls with RIDE COMMAND. You can pair one phone and one headset to the display synchronously. There is no built-in microphone on the display. Phone call audio will play through the phone speakers or Polaris approved headset if connected. Some dial options may be unavailable at speeds great than 3 mph (5 km/h).

The video below walks through how to connect both an iPhone® and Android® to your 7" Off-Road Display powered by RIDE COMMAND via Bluetooth®.

To connect your iPhone® to the display, follow these steps:
1. Begin by navigating into your iPhone® settings and turning on Bluetooth®

2. If available, make your phone discoverable to other devices in your Bluetooth® settings.

3. Bluetooth® settings on the display can be accessed in one of two ways:

  • Press the phone button below the display
  • Press the Polaris Logo button or Polaris logo icon at the top of the display screen. Go to ALL SETTINGS > General > Bluetooth® Devices > Add Device.

4. When your phone appears on the display, choose the device from the list to pair.

5. Now a prompt will appear on your iPhone® requesting permission to pair with your phone.

6. Ensure the confirmation code on the screen and your phone are the same, then press “Pair” on your phone.

7. For optimal experience, enable notifications and sync contacts from your smartphone’s Bluetooth® settings.

To connect your Android® device to the display, follow these steps:
1. Begin by navigating into your smartphone settings, open the Bluetooth® options on your device and ensure that Bluetooth® is turned on. Note: On some phones you have to make the phone visible to other devices. If your phone has this feature, it should show up on the Bluetooth® connection screen of your phone. If no option exists to make your phone visible to the display, it is already visible to the display.

2. Bluetooth® settings on the display can be accessed in one of two ways:

  • Press the phone button below the display
  • Press the Polaris Logo button or Polaris logo icon at the top of the display screen. Go to ALL SETTINGS > General > Bluetooth® Devices > Add Device.

3. When your phone appears on the display, choose the device from the list to pair.

4. Then ensure the confirmation code on the screen and your phone are the same, then press “OK” on your phone.

5. For optimal experience, press “Allow” on your phone when requested to access contacts and messages.

6. The display will now show a list of previously connected phones on the display. If it is unpaired, tap on your phone from the list.

7. Once the display says connected or paired, your phone is now connected to the display via Bluetooth®

8. After the phone is connected, the Device Manager screen will appear.

9. When a smartphone is connected to the display via Bluetooth®, users can make phone calls from the display through the keypad, recent calls, or their contacts by pressing the phone icon in the Device Manager screen or through the pull-down menu. Note: Ensure that your smartphone Bluetooth® settings are set to share phone calls, media audio, text messages and contact information.
