The following video demonstrates how to install the Heated Seat (part number 2882819) on a Polaris snowmobile. The video includes removing the side panels and hood (0:40), disconnecting the battery cables (1:09), removing the seat (1:37), locating the connection for the seat (2:05), removing the intermediate plenum and upper intake plenum (2:17), removing the console (3:03), locating the harness connection (4:15), installing the switch (4:39), reinstalling the console (6:20), installing the new seat (7:42), reinstalling the upper plenum and intermediate plenum (8:38), reinstalling the battery (9:21), reinstalling the hood and side panels (9:34) and testing the heated seat (10:01).
To install the seat, you'll need a 5/32-inch drill bit, drill, flat file, slip joint pliers, metric socket set, TORX® bit socket set, torque wrench and metric wrench set.
